PAC are delighted to be able to offer a range of junior sessions for those in Primary 4 right through to secondary aged youngsters.
Our sessions will improve fitness, balance, co-ordination, stamina and strength as well as being loads of fun.
The starting point for all juniors is our Fundamental Group which offers run, jump, throw activities in a fun, non competitive setting.
Progression is to our Foundation Group which continues to develop run, jump, throw skills and begins to introduce technical aspects of specific events. Over the winter months we incorporate X-Country running into our schedule as we believe that this is the best form of winter training regardless of your preferred events.
Our weekly junior track sessions run throughout the year and compliment our run, jump, throw sessions.
Conditioning- these sessions run over the winter months only and develop core strength and fitness.
PAC also supports any junior who wishes to take part in competitions. We currently enter a joint team with Ellon AAC into the Grampian Athletics League - a great starting point in track and field competitions. Off the track we are strongly represented at local X-country events as well as local road races.
Junior Sessions- Winter 2018/2019
Tuesday: Junior Run,Jump,Throw 5.30pm-6.30pm with Nicola, Alison, Teresa and Ellie. These will take place at the Rescue Hall and will focus on balance, agility and endurance. We will also take small groups outside for a short run so please bring appropriate outdoor clothing too.

Junior Track 6.30pm-7.30pm with Sandy. This will take place at Catto and will build individuals fitness and endurance. Total overall distance covered per session will be maximum of 3k. Participation by mutual agreement between athlete and coach.
Thursday: Hi-Viz group 6.30pm-7. 30pm with Alison and friends.
Start and Finish at the track. Hi-viz essential. Open to seniors too. Contact Alison for more details.
Friday: u12 SUPERteams. Dates will be arranged with individual teams. Any junior wishing to be part of the team should contact Teresa.
